Integrated Core and Log Data to Determine the Reservoir Flow Unit and Rock Facies for Mishrif Formation in South Eastern Iraq

This work represents study the rock facies and flow unit classification for Mishrif carbonate reservoir in Buzurgan oil Field, which located n south eastern Iraq, using wire line logs, core samples petrophysical data (log porosity permeability). Hydraulic units were identified zone indicator approach assessed within each type to reach better understanding of controlling role pore types geometry quality variations. Additionally, distribution sedimentary Rock Fabric Number along with permeability was analyzed three wells (BU-1, BU-2, BU-3). The interactive Petrophysics - IP software is used assess fabric number, zones, index. Formation has four distinct groups that have been recognized approach. first a poor (mud-dominated fabrics) rock-fabric numbers equals 2.5-4, second reveals moderate (wackestone-Packstone Microfacies), third depicts good (grain-dominated packstone) 1.5-2.5 0.5-1.5.
